Awel y Bryn is situated on the edge of the hilltop village of Mathry, which lies between St Davids and Fishguard and on the boundary of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and has commanding views over the surrounding countryside and towards the Preseli Hills.

Mathry is a thriving bilingual community, gathered around the village green and the Church of the Holy Martyrs and where most of the houses are occupied by permanent residents.

About 2 miles away is the beautiful inlet, small beach and slipway at Abercastle, where you can also join the coast path.

Accommodation:

• A slate flagged living hall with locally made furniture.

• One double and two twin en suite bedrooms on the first floor (1 x bathroom and 2 x shower room all with white suites), one with two additional guest beds. Bed linen, towels and bath robes supplied.

• A huge oak floored sitting/dining room decorated with original works by Welsh artists; wood burning stove and access to terrace.

Outside there is enclosed off road parking for three cars, timber decked terrace, a barbecue area and a secure shed for the storage of bicycles, water sports equipment etc. Outdoor furniture and crockery are provided.

Part of the ground floor is a separate self contained apartment with its own entrance and parking, used by the owner when servicing the property.
